Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow from receipt to distribution of fresh produce. Staff Leadership: Manage and train warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment to achieve operational goals. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste. Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control standards, ensuring all products meet safety and freshness requirements. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and transportation teams to coordinate timely deliveries and shipments. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards within the warehouse environment. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on inventory levels, staff performance, and operational metrics. Candidate Requirements Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in retail /fmcg warehouse management, preferably in the fresh produce sector. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
