Warehouse Coordinator (Kolomela) Company : Komatsu South Africa Location : Kolomela Parts, Northern Cape, South Africa Business Unit : South Africa | Division: Operations | Department: Klm Parts Reference Number : 7567 Grading : Salaried C2 Requisition ID : 7567 Closing Date : 15 January 2025 Introduction Komatsu is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for its Kolomela branch in the Northern Cape.
The role involves overseeing the warehouse function and parts sales.
Job Specifications Parts Sales Identify part items using manuals.
Issue quotes and invoices for parts.
Process credit notes.
Inbound Logistics Supervise the planning, preparation, and checking of inbound shipments.
Control and coordinate inbound activities.
Provide reports on statistics, slow-moving stock, and continuous improvement strategies.
Warehouse Supervision & Inventory Control Ensure proper storage and security of items in the warehouse.
Arrange and participate in stock counts (perpetual and ad hoc).
Supervise operations in various stores, including tool, consumable, and hazardous material stores.
Conduct inspections to monitor bins, layouts, and zones.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and tidiness.
Parts Obsolescence Print and monitor parts obsolescence reports.
Administer the parts scrapping process.
Report obsolete parts to management.
Outbound Logistics Supervise the planning, preparation, and checking of outbound shipments.
Monitor and control outbound activities, including picking for parts and components.
Oversee mechanical handling equipment operations, such as forklifts.
Requirements Qualifications Matric Degree or 3-Year Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics Experience 3 years of relevant experience, including 1-year supervisory experience in a warehouse and parts sales environment within the mining/construction industry.
Specific Knowledge Requirements Proficient in MS Excel SAP knowledge, including: SAP confirmations for picking and binning SAP item searches and bin history Printing and capturing stock count sheets Valid Driver's License (essential) Experience with Parts Sales (quoting, invoicing, issuing credit notes).
Strong customer communication and negotiation skills Additional Information Recruitment Policy : Managed in alignment with Komatsu's B-BBEE policies .
