Supply Chain Distribution is responsible for operating SMC's logistics infrastructure for the aftermarket. The warehouse coordinator is responsible for administering and operating the organization's warehouse activities, including processing customer returns for credits, sourcing packaging, and efficient storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facility, auditing goods received into the warehouse.Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.Business targets for a warehouse operation are: Execution of warehouse operations against minimal costs, meeting service requirements.Compliance with EHS policy SMC.Liaise with CSC, freight division, and warehouse personnel.Main Responsibilities: EHS central point of control regarding all Warehouse EHS requirements.Execute process control, updates, and executes system transactions relevant to each control point continuously and accurately within the warehouse.Maintain warehouse controls to ensure efficient and effective operations.Adhere to warehouse control processes to prevent any possible financial loss.Investigate customer queries and LPS deviations to the operational process to resolve issues timeously.Actively engage and partner with the customer service center to provide timely feedback and response on all service center queries.Document all relevant internal customer queries in hard and electronic format according to policy and procedure requirements.Key Performance Indicators: Warehouse CostInbound & Outbound on timeLPS close-out timeEHS PlansYour Profile: Grade 12 / equivalentAdvantageous Certificate and/or Diploma relevant to the fieldAdditional Information: If you have any further queries, please contact us on 0800 331 331.
