Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to undertake packing, maintenance, cleaning, and organizational duties in our warehouse facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that stock is packed securely, the warehouse is well-maintained, and inventory is organized efficiently.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pack and prepare stock for shipment in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy in packing and labeling of items to minimize errors during transportation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately counting, sorting, and organizing stock.
• Perform regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding quality control and workplace conduct.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems is an asset.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
