Warehouse Assistant

· Moving inventory through the building as required.
This includes:- Unpacking inventory received from suppliers,- Checking that inventory is not damaged,- Counting inventory delivered, to ensure it agrees with suppliers delivery documents- Preparing inventory for packing into various storage facilities in the building- Unpacking, as required, into accurate bin locations, carefully, avoiding breakages,- Bringing any defects, breakages, faults to the attention of the relevant supervisors- Picking product, as required by picking slips, for packing and delivery- Packaging product safely, securely and carefully into appropriate packages, in preparation for shipment- Cleaning, repackaging, sorting of product within various storage areas, as required- Weighing, measuring and documenting these weights and measurements, as required · Ensure work areas are always at the highest level of cleanliness and neatness, to avoid safety & health risks,- Maintenance of packaging machines as required· Assist with inventory control processes, as required, and bring to the attention of the supervisor any non-compliance as and when it comes to the attention of the employee· Inventory counts as and when required· All other duties as assigned by supervisor
