As a Warehouse and Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. You will ensure efficient and effective utilisation of space, equipment, and manpower to achieve organisational goals and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring clear delegation of tasks and timely action.
Maintain accurate records by ensuring physical stock matches the inventory system.
Conduct regular stock takes to ensure up-to-date inventory data.
Manage production assemblies on Unleashed for the technical team, supporting laptop and desktop refurbishment processes.
Allocate stock to assemblies and disassemblies within the production cycle, ensuring smooth workflow for technicians.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for assemblies, sales, and refurbishing projects.
Process and capture purchase orders accurately into the inventory system.
Ensure the warehouse is organized, tidy, and free of obstacles for safe operations.
Oversee the assignment of bin locations, ensuring stock is clearly marked and recorded within the system.
Implement security measures to lock away high-risk stock items and maintain a secure inventory environment.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
Obtain competitive quotes from multiple suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in inventory or warehouse management, ideally within electronics or ITAD.
Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Unleashed) and strong computer skills.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing a team.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
