We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our client's team as a Warehouse and Distributions Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and distribution of products. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team of warehouse personnel.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies to support operational growth and achieve business targetsManage and supervise staff, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their KPIs and grow within the organizationMaintain and enforce all health and safety protocols in the warehouse, including conducting regular toolbox talks with staffEnsure all equipment, vehicles, and forklifts are in good working order and adhere to safety requirementsInvestigate and document all incidents within the department using the Sheqsys systemMaintain 5S standards and ensure proper housekeeping in the warehouseAdhere to relevant ISO Quality and Environmental standards and maintain necessary documentation for auditsObtain quotes for capex, maintenance, and other purchases as neededOptimize warehouse layout for space utilization and safe storage of stocks, ensuring FIFO and batch traceabilityMaintain inventory accuracy through tight control of inbound and outbound movements, regular counts, and record-keepingMaintain all necessary documentation and records as per company requirementsRequirementsMatric/Grade 12National Diploma in Warehouse and LogisticsManagement or financial management advantageousQualification in supply chain management or a relevant fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse management in FMCG industryAuditing and stock reconciliation experienceProficiency in Excel and SageStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsEffective leadership and communication skillsSelf-motivated and diligentBenefitsSalary: R800k/yr - R950k/yr, negotiableTraining & DevelopmentFamily LeaveRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
