The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, overseeing FG receipts from imports and manufacturing, managing inventory levels and FIFO practices, and optimising storage capacity. Distribution and logistics management will include transport management of fleets, cost-effective fleet operations, compliance with transport regulations, and managing service provider performance and contracts. Administrative duties will involve ensuring accurate record-keeping, collaborating with the sales team to meet customer requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading regional and national supply chain projects. Budgetary responsibilities will include achieving financial targets, monitoring budgets, managing departmental expenses, and compiling and executing annual budgets. As a leader, the Warehouse and Distribution Manager will supervise and manage staff, handle administrative duties, conduct performance reviews, manage training plans, and resolve disciplinary matters. The required qualifications for this position include Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accountancy, along with a Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics. The candidate must have technical proficiency in SAP, Syspro, ClickView, Eco Time, VIP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. At least 5-10 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management within a multinational manufacturing organisation is essential, with expertise in logistics, inventory, and supply chain management. Proven leadership and team management skills, process design experience, and 3PL and fleet management expertise are also necessary.
