To ensure smooth sales operations and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, KwaZulu-Natal.
QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Warehouse Management, Distribution, or Logistics (NQF 6).Minimum 5 years' experience in Warehousing or Distribution/Logistics Management within a manufacturing environment.ExperienceESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant software.In-depth knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes.Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS AREAS
Operational Efficiency: Achieve and maintain high levels of operational efficiency in warehouse management and distribution.Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.Order Fulfilment: Manage the picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular operational reports.Cost Management: Contribute to budget preparation and control operational costs.Scrap Battery Management: Oversee scrap product collection and processing.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, ensuring a productive and motivated team.ApplicationLDAD9092024-4
