Key Responsibilities: Sales Forecasting: Lead forecasting using IVA systems to align wholesale and stock reporting with realistic market outlooks.
Production Planning: Develop production plans that balance market needs with manufacturing capabilities.
Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, product, and manufacturing teams for aligned production and product launches/changes.
Data Management: Analyze and interpret data to inform volume planning and identify improvement opportunities.
Process Improvement: Continuously enhance planning processes for better accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness.
Reporting: Ensure timely wholesale and stock reporting to Finance, adhering to deadlines.
Model Mix Planning: Optimize model mix strategies to meet market demand and boost production efficiency.
Long-Term Planning: Utilize the IVA system for accurate retail, wholesale, and stock forecasting.
Product Change Management: Manage model run-in and run-out planning to minimize costs and obsolescence.
System Management: Oversee group systems (EPL/FPL/NADIN) and liaise with IS teams for vehicle planning functionality.
Communication: Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualification Requirements: 3-year National Diploma or Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or Business Management.
Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in the automotive industry, preferably in sales, product, or volume planning.
