Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced candidates to fill the Executive Assistant to the Finance Director position in the Finance Division (Kariega).
Brief Role Description As a direct report to the Finance Director, the personal assistant's role is to assist and support with the coordinating, preparation and administration of daily activities in order to improve the efficient and effectiveness of the office. To maintain good relations and ensure effective, professional communication within all areas, Members of the Board, Finance and all supporting departments. To assist and help in other areas where necessary in order to meet objectives of the office of the Finance Director.
Possible Tasks within this Role Preparation and facilitation of meetings, research and compilation of additional information, to ensure that the Finance Director is fully briefed on and prepared for his engagements.Follow-up on various matters to ensure the effective and timely resolution thereof.Research and complete projects as requested in order to ensure the provision of critical information that is required for effective decision making and strategic planning.Participate in and minute relevant meetings.Preparation and compilation of presentations by ensuring a high quality and professional approach and delivery.Liaise with and inform all relevant parties timeously regarding decisions or instructions in order to ensure efficient and correct communication thereof.Maintain good relationship and contact with Stakeholders.Develop, analyse and consolidate information on a broad framework of financial topics and concepts.Facilitation and development of Power BI reports for VWGA Finance.Developing and running with various initiatives and projects within Finance. Qualification requirements National Diploma or Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance / Business Management.
Experience needed A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Finance related environment.
Essentials Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Sound administrative, presentation and project management skills.Be a person of integrity.Be able to maintain strict confidentiality.Strong information processing capabilities. Added Advantage Have research expertise.Have Power BI experience/expertise.German language is not essential but would be an advantage in the role.
