Introduction To provide leadership to the visual merchandise team that ensures a world class shopping experience by creating and implementing impactful visual displays in line with directives to maximise sales for the allocated department
Plan and implement visual marketing material to ensure the effective launch of promotions and special events in the allocated area in conjunction with the commercial departmentsCommunicate marketing material for promotions to department staffCreate visual displays in line with the visual manual, in-store booklet and beautiful VM booklets to maximize salesMonitor current customer profiles and observe customers to influence visual displays and feedback changes or trends in allocated areaManage the distribution and implementation of ticketing and décor in allocated areaManage and maintain all visual equipment for allocated areaProvide input to the planning to improve the general ambiance of the sore and implement accordinglyPeople management – staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relatio Qualifications and Technical knowledge and skills: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF levelDiploma/Degree or relevant qualification will be advantageous2 years visual experience in a retail environmentRetail and supervisory experience will be advantageousAbility to perform manual and technical tasksSpatial, dimensional and proportional orientationColour distinction and coordinationAction orientationTeam leadership and building talentPresenting and communicating informationCreating and innovatingPlanning and organizingFollowing instructions and procedures Entry Requirement: Grade 11 or NQF3 completed, and Grade 12 will be advantageous Retail and or Business Management Diploma would be advantages 2-5 years role experience as a Visual Department Manager in Retail Retail experience highly advantages Team Management would be advantages Leadership and Management experience would be advantageous Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
