Your Mission: Great people make Schneider Electric a great company, we are looking to recruit a Virtual Sales Account Manager (Distribution). The successful candidate will drive growth within the Distribution channel on a national level. The role would involve developing strategy for acquisition of new distributors and the management of the relationship with existing distributors to maximize profitability and revenues within the Distribution channel.
Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together! Successfully execute sales strategies to meet and exceed the sales and profitability targets on this channel.Work closely with relevant functional leaders (Offer Marketing, Channel Marketing and Channel Sales Leadership and Teams).Use of Schneider Electric internal tools to deliver highly accurate forecasts that identify new projects and revenue streams, resulting in a qualified pipeline of prospects and detailed input.Provide feedback regarding market trends that define the competitive landscape, market research on competitor activities and pricing, and report to commercial operations, including win/loss analysis.New Product Introduction and define business development needs to penetrate new markets.Maintain strong cross business selling initiatives, leveraging BU, sales forums and local teams.Leveraging knowledge and relationships with End user market to create pull through for our Distributors.Strong focus on specifying Schneider Electric Low Voltage range of products across homogenous markets relevant to key Distributors and Hubs.Leverage customer/partner/internal Schneider Electric relationships.Partners with Distributors to plan strategies, provide quality service, train customer's personnel, and provide support necessary for attainment of customer's goals and objectives. Anticipates obstacles and identifies alternative strategies.Maintains active relationships with Schneider Electric Distributors and End Users, negotiates discrepancies between customer's and Schneider Electric's expectations and raises necessary escalations to resolve within the quickest time frames.Qualifications B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.5 to 10 years of relevant experience in South African markets, including knowledge and experience in the Industrial, Mining, Manufacturing, Agricultural, Renewable Energy, Solar and Electrical Wholesale markets holistically.Knowledge/experience of low voltage and medium voltage equipment.Experience in finding new business partners, support onboarding and channel new partners through our Hubs.Experience in managing sales and orders targets and reporting in a matrix environment.Why us?
