Qualifications Completed VIP Premier Payroll Course with SAGEMinimum 3 years' experience on the VIP Premier Payroll systemODBC will be an advantageKnowledge of applicable legislation as it relates to payrollExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in group and pressurised environmentMeticulous attention to detailResponsibilities Updating salary register, salary schedules and payroll with new employees, resignations, retirements, retrenchments, and other changes on a monthly basisMonitoring standing deductions for garnishees orders, savings plan, loan repayments, maintenance orders and sundriesProcessing timesheets & calculate remuneration, UIF & PAYE deductions, all salaries, deductions, increases, bonuses, IRP5 CertificatesCalculate travel allowances / car schemes for professional staff, salary packages for prospective employeesData integrity - conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrityReporting - prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, e.g., monthly payroll reports. Any reports requested by Directors, Finance Department or HR DepartmentIncrease schedules - prepare increase schedules and implement final approved increasesEnsure all payments are correct and made in time; print, fold and distribute payslips; confirmation of employment according to procedureAdmin and filing related to payrollPlease take note that initial correspondence will be via email.
