This is a specialist role primarily responsible for creatively and functionally shooting and producing video and photographic footage to support training content.
What will make you successful in this role?Key focus areas: Understand, plan and schedule client requestsUndertake pre-production, production/shoot and post-production processesSelect, operate and maintain relevant equipmentCreate and maintain an accessible archive of footageSupport with enhancing the user learning experience related to the implementation of the e-learning strategyAbility to follow a brief and brand guideline Ability to use multimedia and authoring tools appropriately (graphic, web, animation)Support with other related ad hoc projectsSupport with the setup and hosting of live events (e.g. CPD Masterclass)Research new technologies and concepts that can be introduced to improve the learning experienceQualification and ExperienceGrade 12Degree/diploma in Motion Picture Medium or Cinematography3-5 years' experience in delivering video/photographic content/productions.Knowledge and SkillsIT: Use of authoring tools: Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Digital, web and graphics designUX, UI Animation and motion graphicsArticulateCompetent working knowledge of audio/video equipmentBusiness: Financial Services knowledge (basic)Digital media platforms and processesVideo, photo, motion picture production processesPost-production editing techniques and practices (including writing storyboards)Brand and corporate identity protocolsCopyright and content licensing protocolsProject and resource managementOHASAPersonal AttributesCreative and adaptableConceptual thinkerAttention to detail/quality orientationSelf-starter, self-motivatedRelationship builder
