You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to bring video lessons, promotional campaigns, social media assets and branded content to life, ensuring that every project resonates with the intended audience.What you will do:Video Editing and Post-Production:Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content, including:Educational video lessonsMarketing and promotional videosSocial media and advertising assetsPodcasts and webinarsIncorporate motion graphics, transitions, animations and other enhancements to elevate content qualityPerform colour grading, audio balancing and final rendering for distributionCreative Storytelling:Transform scripts and creative briefs into compelling visual narratives.Content Optimisation:Adapt content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.Team Collaboration:Work closely with the content team, scriptwriters, designers and marketing teams to understand project objectives.File Organisation and Delivery:Manage and maintain an organised library of video files, assets and project backups.Staying Current:Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, tools and techniques.What you must have:Required:5+ years of experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing diverse projectsExpertise in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation tools, such as Adobe After EffectsProven ability to adapt content for various platforms and audiencesSolid skills in colour grading, sound design and storytellingStrong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlinesPreferred:Experience in creating educational, advertising, or e-commerce video contentFamiliarity with audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity)Understanding of social media trends and video marketing strategiesBasic knowledge of video production, including camera and lighting setupsJoin us if you're a creative problem-solver with a passion for crafting compelling video content that educates, engages and entertains!Expected salary:Location: Cape Town, Western CapeJob posting date: Mon, 16 Dec 2024 08:20:47 GMTApply for the job now!
