About the Role The Company is seeking a VP, Scientific Director to join their team.
The successful candidate will serve as the scientific lead, providing active scientific and communication support in both commercial and scientific affairs.
This role involves being the daily point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of scientific and strategic partnership, and leading the provision of scientific input to ensure client communication strategies are understood and implemented.
The VP, Scientific Director will also be responsible for supporting new business development, fostering organic growth of existing accounts, and staying up-to-date with emerging market trends in the assigned therapeutic landscapes.
Applicants must have a higher education degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the medical communications space, with a focus on promotional and commercial activities.
Expert knowledge of the oncology and hematology therapeutic categories is essential.
The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact effectively across boundaries, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
The VP, Scientific Director will be expected to have a proven track record of acting as a scientific lead on commercial accounts and high science therapeutic experience.
Responsibilities also include identifying gaps in services or product offerings and prioritizing to achieve strategic goals.
