The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing a new philanthropic program, with a focus on diversifying revenue and increasing individual giving.
This role involves setting and leading the strategy for the program, expanding fundraising activities, and guiding the growth of contributed revenue.
The Vice President of Philanthropy will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with prospective donors, including high-net-worth individuals, and to personally solicit and secure major gifts.
Strategic relationship management, effective teamwork, and a deep understanding of philanthropic practices are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the nonprofit sector, with at least 10 years of senior leadership and development experience.
They should be highly skilled in program management, strategic planning, and have a proven track record of success in philanthropic activities.
The role requires an individual who is engaging, exuberant, and approachable, with the ability to drive productive collaboration.
A degree in a relevant field is preferred, and experience in arts and culture philanthropy is a plus.
