EO is seeking a Vice President, Business Development for Strategic Alliance Partners to drive exponential growth in the global organization.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in seeking out, cultivating, and closing major B2B partnerships, with a strong understanding of global market trends and competitive landscapes.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with Chapter and Committee leaders to identify and develop new business opportunities Working closely with existing partnership teams to leverage EO's many existing partnerships for member growth Creating short lists of new organizations to target for potential partnerships Approaching and creating discussions at the senior-most level of said organizations to identify mutually beneficial partnership structures Negotiating, closing, and documenting partnerships Managing and nurturing partner relationships Evaluating and communicating results to the Senior Leadership Team and the broader organization on an ongoing basis Partnering with the Marketing & Communications team to deploy internal and external marketing campaigns to maximize the success of the partnerships Aligning with key EO stakeholders to gain buy-in and support Qualifications, skills, and knowledge required:
Bachelor or Master's degree in any field Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience Experience and successful track record in seeking out, cultivating, and closing major B2B partnerships Experience and successful track record in affinity marketing/business strategy Ability to accommodate global travel and flexible working hours Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact, diplomacy, and poise Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job Exercises confidentiality and discretion Promotes cultural competency and global awareness Establishes relationships proactively
