Veterinary Surgeon - Winterton, East Yorkshire

Details of the offer

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced vet to join the team and work within our Winterton branch, closely linked to the RCVS accredited Swanland 24 hour hospital.

Our Veterinary Surgeons are at the front line of delivering exceptional care and play an integral part of each one of our sites. From routine health checks to advanced surgeries, you'll work directly with clients and their pets to offer care that's bespoke to them. Sole charge work will form the majority of this role so confidence and sound clinical judgement are a necessity but you will have the support of the team at the hospital and the seven other branch practices.

In return we will provide an excellent career progression and work life balance, fantastic packages and the chance to be involved in cases using state-of-the-art technology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to take ownership, really make a practice their own and drive a practice to make it the heart of the community.

Salary package up to £65,269 PA, including: Accommodation allowance. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance. Employee benefits: Relocation package of up to £2000. CPD allowance and 3 days paid CPD leave per year. Funded certificate opportunities. Leadership training. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays. Pension scheme. Paid sabbatical after five years' service. Annual pay reviews. Additional paid leave for exceptional attendance. Colleague purchase scheme. Enhanced maternity/paternity leave. Hapibenefits – Receive a range of discounts on your shopping, entertainment and meals out. 24 hour access to wellbeing and employee assistance program. We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours a week over four days with a share of weekends but we'd like to hear what works for you and are open to negotiation so please get in contact to let us know.
