A well-established Underwriting Managing Agency dedicated to providing top-notch care for pets requires the service of a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time/part-time Veterinary Professional.
The candidate should fulfill the following requirements: Underwriting risk assessment, analyzing risk associated with different veterinary treatment procedures and treatment to establish appropriate coverage limits Claims Assessment – assess claims, and ensure fair and timeous resolution for clients First Claim History checks, and non-disclosure process Pre-authorization verification/approvals of procedures Training of Underwriting and Claims team with veterinary knowledge Input into product design, clinical protocols, and system improvements.
Qualifications and Experience required: Veterinary or nursing qualification Minimum of 3 years veterinary experience Knowledge of pet insurance would be preferable.
Computer skills – Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent admin skills, accuracy, and detail orientated Excellent Decision-making Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and make informed decisions High stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure with no supervision.
