Part Time Veterinary Nurse – Worcester
Up to £17ph DOE plus benefits

Vets Now is the UK's leading provider of emergency pet care, serving over 1700 veterinary practices through 60 plus dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. Our Worcester clinic has been providing out-of-hours emergency veterinary clinic since 2010 at nights, weekends, and 24 hours on a Sunday.
Understanding your key role
Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Working pattern
Role 1:
Every Wednesday from 19:00 to 09:00
Every other weekend, Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 08:00 to 18:00
Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
Role 2:
Every Thursday from 19:00 to 09:00
Every other weekend, Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 08:00 to 18:00
