About the Role As an Area Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our practices across your region.
This is a hands-on leadership role, blending strategic oversight with operational management.
You will:
Uphold our core values – Caring, Service, and Professionalism – ensuring these principles are at the heart of everything we do.Drive sustainable growth by delivering against budgets, identifying operational efficiencies, and maintaining cost control.Support and develop our clinical teams, ensuring they thrive in their roles while delivering exceptional client and patient care.Optimise practice performance, managing resources, compliance, and client service standards.Key Responsibilities Champion the "DNA Way" of service excellence, mentoring teams to embrace and embody our ethos.Line manage and support practice teams, ensuring clarity, guidance, and accountability.Oversee profit and loss for your region, delivering operational efficiency and sustainable results.Analyse and share key performance indicators, coaching teams for continuous improvement.Ensure clinicians and resources are used effectively to minimize costs and improve client experiences.Maintain high standards of compliance, cleanliness, and client satisfaction across all practices.Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to plan for future staffing needs and onboard new colleagues seamlessly.Drive client growth through innovative marketing, social media strategies, and retention initiatives.Promote and grow our VIP scheme, ensuring it is embraced across practices.Manage client feedback, complaints, and debt levels, ensuring outcomes align with company goals.What We're Looking For We're seeking a dynamic leader with:

DNA Vetcare is a proudly independent group of multi award-winning surgeries, founded in 2006 by veterinary surgeons Alan van Heerden and Dane Walker.
Dane and Alan have taken their years of experience working in numerous high quality practices, to provide exceptional vet care across London and Kent.
Claire Baker joined Alan and Dane as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum.
Claire heads up the Group's operations and vet team recruitment.
