We are delighted to work with a leading global client specializing in the Oil & Gas Industry, who has an exciting opportunity for a talented VESSEL ICT TECHNICIAN with knowledge of Cisco Infrastructure System and L3 switch and VLAN capabilities to work on Offshore Fleet based WORLDWIDE. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in coordination with the electrical team on ICT and communication side, where good IT knowledge is necessary.Plan the electrical maintenance reporting to the Electrical lead / Chief Engineer.Respect HSE and Quality procedures and practices.Monitor and control on-board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedule.Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Bachelor's / Diploma qualification.Minimum Five (5) years of experience in IT Management Infrastructure.Knowledge of Cisco infrastructure system, capability to manage the L3 switch and VLAN.Capability to interface the IT and IOT network following the company restrictions in terms of cyber security.Possession of a valid BOSIET/FOET and a Seaman Book with a validity date.Fluent in English.
