QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.5+ years of experience as a controller in supply chain management, logistics, local and cross-border or operations within the automotive, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.Cross-border systems knowledge is a MUST.5+ years of experience in managing vehicle supply chains, including procurement, production, and distribution processes.Experience with supply chain software (ERP, WMS, TMS) and data analysis tools.Strong knowledge of vehicle supply chain operations, inventory control, and logistics management.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize processes.Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage comprehensive supply chain strategies for the vehicle supply process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of vehicles.Coordinate the flow of materials, components, and finished vehicles from suppliers to production facilities, and from production to distribution or retail channels.Monitor vehicle production schedules and align them with customer demand, seasonal trends, and market fluctuations.Work closely with the production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure that supply chain activities run smoothly and efficiently.Oversee the management of vehicle inventories at various stages of the supply chain, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess inventory or stockouts.Conduct regular performance evaluations and collaborate with vendors to improve delivery reliability, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.Identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization to improve overall financial performance.Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on supply chain costs, savings, and potential risks.Monitor transportation routes, optimize delivery schedules, and evaluate third-party logistics partners to improve delivery lead times and reduce transportation costs.Collect, analyze, and report on key supply chain performance metrics, such as order fulfillment rates, lead times, inventory levels, and supplier performance.Use data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks in the supply chain process.Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including disruptions, shortages, or delays caused by supply, transportation, or production issues.Ensure that all vehicle supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and environmental considerations.Develop contingency plans for unexpected supply chain disruptions and ensure the business can adapt to challenges such as natural disasters, strikes, or geopolitical events.Lead or participate in initiatives to improve vehicle supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance efficiency.Stay current with trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, applying innovative solutions to streamline operations.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting process optimization and the use of technology across the supply chain.
