The candidate will be responsible for overseeing specialized vehicle electronics commissioning programs and configuring the universal testing system (UPS) with the Siemens SIDIS system. This ensures that all vehicles manufactured are commissioned in accordance with group specifications and automotive regulations. Potential responsibilities in this position Develop and execute new commissioning programs for new vehicle projects, model years, or face-lifts, taking into account assembly production process, line layout, technical commissioning requirements, and project timing (launch milestone). The exclusive duty for carrying out the programming, testing, and adjustment of control units and driver assist systems in production vehicles using the Siemens SIDIS system to ensure compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory standards. Examine and fix commissioning issues in production by identifying and troubleshooting vehicle test protocols and program traces to preventively deal with concerns in the commissioning procedures. Collaboration with clients (inside/outside/both local and global) to identify requirements and possible solutions that will lead to new setups tailored to new technical and customer requirements. Develop and carry out maintenance program commissioning throughout the product's lifespan. Confirm and make certain that vehicles meet the group commissioning test specification. Ensure secure production 24/7 by implementing standby/callout arrangements for all 3 shifts, including weekends. Requirements for qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering (excluding high current), mechatronics, or Information Technology/Computer Science. Required level of expertise At least two years of experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, C#, C++, VB) is required.
