Job Description:

Value chain calculations for Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini and Lesotho – calculate Landed cost (Supplier cost, Excise, Alcohol levy, Transport, Rebate provisions) apply margins to calculate list prices (groceries and liquor)
Landed cost calculations may include Shipping costs, Transport, Excise on Duty Free Imports, Alcohol levy, rebate and marketing provisions
Register and set up New product on ERP
Handle price increases from Suppliers which includes updating value chain costing, and updating ERP with new prices timeously
Ensure that the audit trail and approvals for value chain calculations are file for internal control and audit purposes
Analyse and report on all purchase price variances (monthly) and correct underrecoveries
Handle audit queries re costing and pricing of products
Prepare and review margin reports, to ensure healthy margins are maintained in value chain calculations
Assist with Products set-up as part of ERP migration project planned for 2024
Calculate stock profits and releasing to income statement based on movement of pre-price increase stock
Identify slow moving stock and relating stock profits and advise on dealing parametersESG
Put together monthly Carbon footprint (Fuel, electricity, energy usage) and ESG reports (employee numbers, Training, CSI projects, Supplier screening) with info received from Countries (BLNE)
Reporting on CSI initiatives

Qualifications:

Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or any relevant qualification required
Relevant experience required
