You will be working with them to understand their data, their strategic requirements and create analysis using financial modelling and data analytics techniques aligned to their strategic priorities. You will work directly with clients in ensuring timely delivery of their needs and manage the engagement and the overall quality of work performed. You will also review complex models developed by our clients and critique models both their logical and commercial integrity.Skills and attributes for successStrong corporate finance skillsStrong financial modelling skillsFinancial instruments experience – working on financial instruments such as equity options, swaps, valuations using simulations and lattice methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skillsLeadership skillsStrong client and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication skillsBusiness development experience and skillsTrack record in managing project expenditures against budget and revenue, and providing guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverablesExcellent analytical, project management, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong Excel skillsStrong knowledge and awareness of other data analytics tools and related software, including data visualizationIdeally some programming experience in Matlab, R or PythonFluent business English – both writing and verbalIntellectual curiosityAttention to detailTo qualify for the role you must haveBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.Superior financial modelling skills in MS Excel.Experience with any of the following software packages: SQL Server; Data Visualization applications (Tableau, MS Power BI); Statistical packages (MATLAB, R or Python), VBA.At least 4 years of experience developing financial models and analytical solutions from scratch, utilizing best practice methodologies and performing quality control procedures.At least 1 year of experience managing project expenditures against budget and revenue, supervising teams and scoping project requirements.At least 1 year of experience of managing projects from start to finish.Ability to provide sound guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables.Ideally, you'll also haveExperience working in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, or consulting businesses.CFA certification or significant progress towards these or similar certifications.What we look forWe are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers with a passion for business modelling and analytics, with very strong attention to detail.
