Valuations Actuarial Specialist

Qualifications to Succeed:Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.Nearly or newly qualified Actuary, with progress in completing normative skills toward Fellowship.Around 5 years of experience in actuarial valuations and/or reporting.Proficiency in SQL.Duties and Responsibilities:Valuation Leadership: Consolidate, review, and analyze actuarial valuation results under IFRS, SAM, and Embedded Value bases.Accuracy and Reasonability: Ensure liability and embedded value calculations align with parameters and provide actionable insights.Profit Analysis: Assist management in understanding the drivers of performance and business profitability.Problem Solving: Resolve valuation issues in collaboration with business units.Process Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements to optimize valuation workflows.Product Stewardship: Take ownership of assigned products, ensuring compliance and alignment with statutory expectations.Data Insights: Support periodic experience investigations, sensitivity testing, and generate impactful recommendations.Timely Delivery: Maintain compliance with group standards and reporting deadlines.If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
