Environmental Assurance (Pty) Ltd kindly invites all interested and capable persons to apply for a permanent position of Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP), located in Gauteng, Pretoria, reporting to Senior Management and Business Unit Manager.
The recruitment process will commence 05 September 2024; candidates who do not meet the requirements will not be considered.
Qualifications/Experience Required: Minimum of a post-graduate degree in Environmental Management or Environmental Science.Must be registered with EAPASA as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP).A minimum of 10+ years of working experience in the field of environmental impact assessment and environmental management.Extensive experience in Atmospheric Emission Licences, Environmental Impact Assessments, Amendments to existing Authorisations, Environmental Compliance, and Environmental Evaluations. Superior knowledge of relevant environmental policies, legislation, guidelines, and standards as a pre-requisite, proven based on project experience and recent training (courses).Experience within the mining and industrial sectors will be advantageous.Strong proficiency in writing detailed and high-quality reports, with the ability to demonstrate skills upon request.Confident and effective communication skills when engaging with clients, the public, and authorities, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and specialists.Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.Applicants must be willing to travel and have a driver's licence and valid passport.Experience in the compilation of proposals, quotations, and tenders.Ability to source new work.Salary range: Package includes a 13th Cheque and other company-based benefits.
