We are opening a creative hub in South Africa, connected to our headquarters in Germany.Note: To be eligible for this position, candidates must reside in South Africa/Cape Town and have a valid work permit.Position OverviewAs a UX/UI Designer (all levels) at Plan.Net TechNest South Africa, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive digital experiences for a leading German automotive client. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to understand project requirements and translate them into conversion driven user-centric design solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with UX/UI leads and the Cape Town team to create customer-centric designs that align with our vision, mission, and values for international clientsTake ownership of your work, accept and provide constructive criticism, explain design decisions, and collaborate effectively.Partner with the product team, stakeholders, and customers to design solutions that meet both customer and business objectives.Contribute to Figma components and tokens for clients' white label design systems, building a solid design foundation for the future.Present work in meetings, handle feedback, and support designs with UX research and usability testing, including facilitating user research if needed.Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and responsive UI designs in Figma, and work closely with development teams for seamless implementation.Skills & AttributesUser-centered UX/UI design experience, including contributing to and using design systems.Conduct product and competitor research, synthesizing findings for the design team.Excellent communication skills for presenting concepts, working with cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.Proficient in Figma for design and prototyping, with experience in design tokens and additional motion design tools as a plus.Flexible approach to working on diverse products, with knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS) and ticket-based systems like Jira and Confluence.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing various design projects.Experience1-5 years experience as a UX/UI DesignerA diploma or equivalent in the design fieldA portfolio of work done to dateWhat we offerBenefit to health insurance deducted from your monthly remuneration20 days (about 3 weeks) paid annual leave, additional paid leave for annual office closure between Christmas and New Years EveAccess to Plan.Net Group eLearning opportunities for all employees, ensuring continuous growth and developmentFind out more about Serviceplan and our House of Communication here.#J-18808-Ljbffr
