Overview Hire Resolve is currently assisting a well-established manufacturing company in Cape Town in their search for a Utility Maintenance Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of utility systems within the manufacturing facility.As the Utility Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all utility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, are functioning properly and efficiently to support the manufacturing operations.Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repairs of utility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsPlan and schedule preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of utility systemsEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirementsManage and provide technical guidance to the maintenance teamCollaborate with other departments to identify and implement continuous improvement initiativesMonitor utility consumption and implement energy conservation measuresMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair history and costs Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in utility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsExcellent leadership and management skillsProficiency in using maintenance management softwareStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements Benefits: Salary: negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
