In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks.You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships.This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.
The Unit Director is also responsible for the fiscal, human resources, clinical, materials management, and communication operations of the Multi Acute Care speciality unit.
UCLA Health salary range for this title code is $157,400- $380,600/annually. Please note that the department's target pay range is $157,400 - $261,000/annually.

Current California RN licenserequiredMSN or BSN with a Master's degree in a related fieldrequired5 years of acute care experience as an RN, requiredPrevious Med Surg experience as an RN,required3 years of leadership or management experiencerequiredBLS from the American Red Cross or American HeartAssociation-requiredNursing Professional Leadership certification (i.e. ANCC or AONE) preferredSkill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basisAbility to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient-assessmentsAbility to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
