The purpose of the position is to co-ordinate all the functions and activities related to the provision, promotion and assurance of quality of patient care, excellent service to doctors, visitors and support services in a cost effective manner as well as motivating, supporting and optimising staff performance and education so that an optimum contribution is made to the successful functioning of the unit.CRITICAL OUTPUTSMaintain uncompromising quality nursing careMaintain effective leadership & management of staffCost effective management of productivity and efficiencyMaintain legal, ethical and scientific nursing interventionEnsure patient satisfaction and clinical outcomesAchieve occupancy levels through relationship management with members of the professional teamREQUIREMENTSDiploma in General Nursing / BCur DegreeRegistered with SANC as a Registered NurseAt least 3 years' experience in a senior or shift leader rolePrevious experience within a Sub-Acute environment will be advantageousComputer literacy is essentialExcellent clinical nursing skills, ability to lead subordinates to achieve objectives, conflict management, performance orientation and teamworkIf your personal purpose is aligned to our purpose and your values fit in with our value system, please apply.
