Underwriting Administrator

My client in the financial services sector is currently recruiting for a reliable and passionate Underwriting Administrator to join their well established team. Minimum requirements: National Senior Certificate Relevant Short-Term Insurance prescribed qualifications Computer literate with knowledge and experience in MS Excel and MS Word Experience and/or exposure in the following areas will be advantageous At least Five years Agri Short-Term Insurance experience RE5 certificate compliant with FAIS regulations Fluent in Afrikaans and English Experience in interacting with Brokers and clients Excellent people and interpersonal skills The ability to work under pressure Excellent reporting skills and the ability to identify and address risks Excellent organizational and record keeping skills Responsibilities will include: Processing of quotations and premium calculation checks Handling of all Policy Endorsements, rate queries and discount requests Hold covered requests Request the issue of Sasria Coupons Sessions on policies Confirmation of cover Correspondence and all other means of communication Premium increase after claims settling Policy cancellation requests Assist with monthly reporting Assist with handling of all Survey requests Policy Premium control IMPORTANT: Applications close 30 September 2024 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
