Underwriter (Personal Lines & Commercial)

Key Responsibilities:?? Process and underwrite new business quotes for our valued intermediaries.?? Handle large quotes from initial quoting to final policy issue with precision and expertise.?? Provide top-notch technical underwriting, rating advice, and risk acceptance across all Body Corporate & Sectional Title insurance classes.?? Offer support with referral risks, unique risks, and undefined mandates.?? Interpret and process technical information efficiently.?? Load new policies onto our cutting-edge system.?? Make amendments to existing policies with accuracy and attention to detail.?? Collaborate with managers and build strong relationships with intermediaries.?? Seamlessly process policies for book take-overs and bulk increases.?? Demonstrate deep product knowledge of Body Corporate/Sectional Title policies.What Were Looking For:?? RE5 certification & Fais credits.?? Industry credits/qualifications are a bonus!?? At least 2-3 years of experience in the short-term insurance industry with an insurer or within an admin-house.?? Adaptable and ready to tackle challenges head-on.??? Excellent communication skills youll be building relationships every day & Bilingual. ?? A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.?? Experienced in handling policy renewals, amendments, and more.?? Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
