Job ResponsibilitiesProcess and underwrite new business / re-advance applications.Partner New and Pre-approved applications.SME funding applications and EFT applications.Full credit assessment of applicants.Complete credit and reference checks.Achieve performance targets and maintain performance standards.Meet internal SLAs stipulated per product.Manage accuracy, completeness, and turn-around times for deals.Prepare documentation to be used in Risk and Decline Appeal meetings.Desired Experience & Qualifications3 - 5 years of underwriting and analysis experience.Credit risk and/or credit underwriting experience in the financial services sector.Matric.Advanced Certificates/Diploma: Business/Finance/Accounting.Advanced Excel.Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Adapt well to change.Experience applying credit risk to inform decision-making.Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.Able to make recommendations based on analysis of application data.Able to follow SOPs and ensure consistent decision-making.Able to summarize findings concisely and clearly.Able to multitask and work under pressure.Interested?By applying for this position, you consent in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act) to your personal information being obtained, utilized, and stored by the Company through inter alia, reference checks, credit checks, and trace reports.Should you not hear from us within 7 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
