Your opportunity:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Undergraduate Academic Services, and under the direction of Associate Chair, Undergraduate Studies, the Undergraduate Program Coordinator is responsible for providing program administration support for the Computer Science undergraduate office.
This is a term position to December 2025. Your responsibilities will include: Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importanceConducting detailed analysis on program efficiency and student learning outcomes to inform program planning activitiesAnalyzing servicedelivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvementsLeading seminars and/or workshopsAdvising students on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's backgroundCoordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholdersDirecting a small group in a limited area, including responsibility for scheduling and/or workflowEssential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum four years recent and relevant experience in supporting an undergraduate academic program, including supporting program planning and student advisingDemonstrated experience providing academic advising to current and prospective studentsExperience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis on program efficiency and student experience, and providing strategic input in program planningExperience analyzing internal and external program trends, preferably in computer science, and recommending improvementsExperience interpreting and advising on academic policies, regulations, and proceduresDemonstrated knowledge of relevant student and academic university policies, and student servicesExperience preparing and leading presentations, seminars, and/or workshops, planning and organizing special events, and preparing promotional and outreach materialsExperience planning and implementing workflows for staffStrong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and SharePoint, and content management systemsAdvanced skills in ROSI, ROSI Express, Degree Explorer, eMarks, or similar student systems to enter data, retrieve information, and generate reportsExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacyDemonstrated ability to organize work and establish priorities in a flexible way, and successfully meet deadlines with competing priorities and interruptionsAbility to handle stressful situationsExcellent relationship building skills, with the ability to relate to all levels of faculty, staff and students in a manner which facilitates cooperation Assets (Nonessential): Demonstrated knowledge of computer science program trends and best practicesExperience in interpreting collective agreements To be successful in this role you will be: Closing Date: 07/09/2024, 11:59PM ET

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 12 -- $78,308 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $100,144. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
