Job Description:
The incumbent will manage various teaching laboratories and service areas, and oversee
the smooth delivery of the undergraduate practical's programme for the Discipline of Soil
Science.

Job Responsibilities:

Further Maintain laboratory stocks and supplies and manage hazardous waste disposal.
Assist lecturers with all planning, preparation, resource allocation and maintenance of materials for practicals.
Assist with support for undergraduate and postgraduate research and conduct regular maintenance and support on relevant equipment including high-end analytical instrumentation.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in word processing and spreadsheets
A three-year tertiary qualification in Analytical Chemistry or other relevant field.
Four years relevant work experience in a Soil Science or other analytical laboratory.
