Uav Service & Technical Support Specialist

Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a bachelors degree in agriculture, mechatronics, or related field, with a focus on drones, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years experience in technical support or a similar roleMust have a completed Remote Pilot License (RPL) with proven flight experienceExperience in customer technical training with strong presentation skills are essentialPassion for the commercial agricultural drone marketMust have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, locally and internationallyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills will be requiredMust have strong technical expertise combined with a commercial aptitudeThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Overseeing and executing drone service and repair strategies in Gauteng while collaborating with agricultural drone customers and contractors.Developing and managing service and support documentation for third-party service providers, ensuring high-quality post-sale service.Maintaining technical relationships with business partners, providing training and necessary parts for optimal service.Leading demonstration days and training sessions as a licensed Remote Pilot (RPL), offering ongoing support in the region.Becoming a product expert, showcasing the benefits of drones and assisting with sales.Identifying opportunities, following up with customers, and driving the planning and execution of demonstration days.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
