Employer DescriptionA multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that undertakes civil and building projects.Job DescriptionYou will be reporting to the Lead Engineer, and your responsibilities will include:Responsible for the design, project management, and contract administration within the civil department.Performing pipelines, pump stations, hydraulics design from inception to final design in accordance with design standards.Excellent understanding of engineering concepts and application of knowledge.Good understanding of industry codes and standards.Checking and verifying designs.Liaising with clients where required.Developing an understanding of industry codes and standards, client specifications, and client expectations.Developing an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.QualificationsBTech / National Diploma in Civil EngineeringECSA registrationPr TechEng / PrTechni - advantageousSkillsMS Office Applications, MS ProjectProficient in AutoCAD, Civil Designer, Civil 3D8 to 10 years experience in the design and delivery of engineering projects in urban development, project management, contractual administration, and designExperience in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Pump stations, Sizing Pumps, and Pipeline Designs
