We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our team and lead the design, development, and maintenance of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our IT operations and data. You will also provide technical guidance, mentorship, and project management expertise to deliver successful IT solutions.
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will have the following duties and responsibilities: Manage information technology and computer systemsPlan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operationsManage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performanceDesign, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and proceduresEnsure security of data, network access, and backup systemsAct in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policyIdentify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in timeAudit systems and assess their outcomesPreserve assets, information security, and control structuresHandle annual budget and ensure cost effectivenessImplementation and maintenance of effective delivery frameworks internally and with the outsourced IT service partnerPlan and implement moves, adds, changes, and deletions to support the IT infrastructureImplement network security at levels set by corporate standardsAnticipate difficulties or problems relating to IT and ensure that contingency plans are in place to overcome themWork with the IT team to implement and support internal IT systems and proactively address IT change requests from stakeholdersInteract constructively with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT related issues and provide answers in a timely manner through the effective implementation of helpdesk and application softwareAdminister and maintain the company's IT infrastructure and manage all telephony changesManage day-to-day internal and external client interactionsManage all Helpdesk activities for the locationEnsure that company IT assets are maintained according to company standardsJob Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Preferrable)At least 10 years of experience in IT, with 5 years in a senior roleMCSE, CCNA, and ITIL certifications (Preferrable)Advanced proficiency in Windows Server 2016 and 2019, VMware, WSUS, and networking concepts such as switches, routers, hubs, servers, cables, racks, firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, latency, VoIP, QoS, MPLSExcellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsStrong customer focus and proactive attitudeAbility to work independently and under pressureAbility to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyAbility to learn new technologies and tools quickly
