Position: Cleaning Supervisor at Tsebo Solutions Group Location: Multiple sites across Parow, Newlands, and Southern Suburbs areas

Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Tsebo Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Operations and Service Delivery
You will oversee day-to-day cleaning operations across designated sites, implementing schedules and work assignments to ensure that all tasks are completed to our high standards. Key responsibilities include:
Work Scheduling and Oversight: Create and maintain detailed work schedules and job cards for each position on site, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and within specified time frames.Quality Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of cleaning tasks to confirm adherence to service standards as defined by our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Uniform and Identification Compliance: Ensure all staff are professionally dressed and wearing name badges, enhancing the professionalism and brand image of Tsebo.Company Policy and Methodology Adherence: Implement Tsebo's cleaning methodologies, adhering to all company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations to ensure client satisfaction and safety.Asset Management: Perform monthly spot checks on high-value equipment and assets, ensuring they are in proper working condition and arranging for repairs or servicing as necessary.Safety and Maintenance Checks: Report all maintenance and safety concerns to your manager promptly, ensuring a safe working environment.Professional Appearance and Hygiene: Promote health, hygiene, and a professional appearance among all staff, reinforcing the importance of personal and professional standards.Communication and Coordination
Strong communication skills are essential in ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration with both staff and management. Responsibilities include:
Prompt Response to Management Requests: Attend to management directives swiftly and accurately, keeping your line management informed of any notable issues.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members comply with site-specific Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, aligned with Tsebo's policies, quality programs, and relevant legislation. This includes conducting regular safety briefings and following up on compliance across your team.General Support and Staff Morale
Beyond operations, you'll contribute to a positive and motivated team environment. Tasks include:
Maintaining Morale and Motivation: Use effective communication and leadership skills to foster a positive team culture, helping team members feel motivated and supported in their roles.Assisting with Other Duties: From time to time, assist with additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to Tsebo's success.Skills and CompetenciesThis role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and support the cleaning team. Desired skills include:
Deep Understanding of Cleaning Principles: A solid foundation in cleaning principles, methods, and best practices is essential to ensure that operations align with Tsebo's high standards.Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are needed to provide clear instructions, feedback, and support to team members.Ability to Work Independently and Under Pressure: As a leader in a fast-paced environment, you must be capable of making sound decisions independently and handling pressure effectively.QualificationsCandidates should meet the following qualifications to be considered for this role:
