TRS has an exciting opportunity for a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER with strong Raise Boring and FIDIC contract management experience. Lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects, ensuring the successful execution of raise boring operations while adhering to contractual obligations and project timelines. Job Duties and Responsibilities include:Project planningCoordination of engineering activitiesProcurement managementContract negotiationEnsuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standardsExperience Requirements:Raise boring experience
Extensive contract management – FIDIC
Worked within an EPCM/Mining environment essential
Knowledge of specific departments i.e.: Projects, Project Controls, etc. essential
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 45001 advantageous
Sound technical knowledge in a multi-discipline environment essential
Qualification and Skills Requirements:BSc Honors/ BTech/ NQFL7 or higher in Mechanical Engineering essentialProfessional Registration essential - ECSAGCC (Mines & Works) advantageousPost Graduate Qualifications advantageous10 or more years of experience in Mechanical Engineering5 years or more in Mining Projects3 years or more operational experience in minesContact:Cobus Steyn
