Your opportunity:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Tri-Campus Sports and in collaboration with the Program Coordinators, the Tri-Campus Sport Administrator provides predominately on-site support services to a variety of intramural and tri-campus sport programs in a highly customer service orientated environment. The incumbent will assist in the coordination and delivery of evening and weekend on campus intramural programming and provide general support to Athletics & Recreation initiatives in the Tri-Campus Portfolio, including the Tri-Campus League this will include program set-up and moving equipment and program supplies.

Your responsibilities will include: Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriateProviding detailed information on Tri-Campus programs, procedures, policies and deadlinesDetermining logistical details and activities for events and programming, including the coordination and delivery of evening and weekend on campus programming and provide general support to Athletics & Recreation initiatives in the Tri-Campus Portfolio, including the Tri-Campus LeagueResolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as requiredActing as the first point of contact for a variety of program supportservices in a highly customer service orientated environmentDisseminating informationFormatting and maintaining communication templatesServing as a resource to others by providing job-related guidance and ensuring that facilities and equipment meet the highest standard for play and player safetyEssential Qualifications: Advanced College Diploma (3 years), preferably in Physical Education, Recreation or Sports Management. Must successfully complete a current recognized Standard First Aid, AED, and CPR certificate within the first 3 months of employment.A minimum of two years of related experience in a customer service orientated position in a sport and recreation environment.Familiarity with athletic facilities, equipment and/or programs.Experience with athletic recreation program delivery and familiarity with post-secondary recreation and intramural programs.Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict management skills, ability to exercise good judgement and initiative, ability to resolve problems.Display an understanding of diversity and equity issues.Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate activities; proven ability to collaborate and participate effectively within a team; commitment/passion for the continuum of programs, enthusiasm and skill in mentoring student leaders. Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 07 -- $58,012 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $74,189. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
