Treasury Trader

One of our JSE listed clients seek a Treasury Dealer Support to join their team. This role will work closely with the Treasury Manager and facilitate the group of companies' financial markets requests to the treasury team. The role calls for someone who holds their RE5, has worked as and is an FSCA registered representative and no longer under supervision and registered for Cat1 products. This is essential to this front office treasury support role. This is a permanent half-day position based in Cape Town, with flexibility to be a hybrid / potentially fully remote opportunity. Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with financial institutionsDaily liaison with financial institutions, enabling companies to buy / sell / invest in financial products to the advantage of the businessDaily transactions administrationDaily and monthly market data distributionTreasury system inputs, interest recons and reportingAssist with FICA processRequirements: Minimum of a completed tertiary qualificationMinimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role within financial marketsRegistered with FSCA as a registered representative no longer under supervision for Cat1Strong base of financial market and Cat1 products requiredExcellent relationship building skillsHigh attention to detailExcellent eye for detailAbility to problem solve and work well under pressureGood team playerPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
