Treasury Officer

Purpose of the Role To ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information to aid informed decision making within company. Roles and Responsibilities Accountable for management of all bank account infrastructures Responsible for the administration of all the bank cash management system Management of all Treasury accounting as well as Treasury middle and back-office function Ensure all the monthly/Weekly Bank Reconciliation for are done and submitted on time. Co-ordination for internal and external Treasury Audit requirements Download daily banking and load it in SAP. Balance petty cash and check petty cash float. Maintain treasury records in strict compliance with companys policies and procedures. Assist in the initiation of and response to correspondence with bankers and ensure proper documentation. Assist in treasury management, cash management and other general support. Obtain and analyse periodic (daily, weekly, and monthly) bank statements from companys bankers and prepare daily bank reconciliation thereon. Reconcile balances, charges, deductions, and payments to the ledger. Trace unreasonable items and errors and obtain approval to correct and post necessary entries. Ensure proper safekeeping and documentation of all bank statements. Relate with the banks to ensure companys Letter of Credit (LC) requirements are promptly attended to. Track and prepare periodic reports on the status of opened LCs. Operate the petty cash system for company. Perform other duties with reasonable capacity as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager. Prepares and send weekly, monthly finance requests schedules and documentation for local and international Suppliers to the bank, for payments that are made through Trade Finance facility Prepares payments and Inter Account transfers on the CFC US Dollar account Prepares Various bank instructions for trade finance loan settlements and letter of credits due to the bank by collecting Clearing documents such as Customs EDI, Customs worksheets, SAD 500, and additional information required by the bank. Maintains e-wallet cards for various employees including expatriates. Prepares weekly cash reports to help manage cash on a weekly basis. Liaising with relevant approvers regarding authorization of payments loaded on various platforms. Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential. Minimum Requirements Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting, Finance 23 years financial accounting experience Great MS Excel Skills Excellent SAP Experience is a must Analytical Skills (Advanced) Problem Solving Skills (Advanced) Microsoft Office Skills
