Treasury and Financial Reporting Manager: This role will work directly with the Group Treasurer and CFO but will also be involved with other departments. Position based in Sandton with blue chip corporate companyRequired skills and competencies:Experience in a commercial group treasury environment preferred but not essentialPassionate about financial management and analytical, with an eye for detailComfortable with a complex Group structure and able to understand entire perspectiveTechnically strong and up to date with IFRS and sound working knowledge of taxationAble to process through large volumes of data and analyse for meaningful inputResponsibilities: Assist with quarterly audit & risk committee reportingCorporate Governance and reporting on compliance as required (i.e. King IV)Involved in all banking related matters from a group perspectiveAssist with Integrated Annual Report and collation of divisional informationMonthly and quarterly finance cost calculations for the GroupDaily and monthly treasury related functions and ad-hoc requirementsAuthorisation of transfers and payments dailyForecasts/budgets of debt and finance cost plus monthly cash reportingFinancial analysis and review of management accountsInvolved with the annual external and internal audit processResearch and analysis of accounting standards, able to provide technical input and assistance (emerging issues re IFRS, Tax, and Companies Act etc.)Reporting in terms of lending agreements on a monthly and quarterly basisAny ad-hoc projects relating to group reporting and treasury related matters.Qualifications and essential pre-requisites:CA (SA) qualification with one to two years post articles experienceSkilled communicator both verbal and written at all levels both inside and outside co.Ability to independently carry out various ad hoc duties as required from time to timeAble to work proficiently in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordAbility to perform critical thinking and problem solving dailyAbility to deliver quality output under high pressure and ever-changing situations.
