A leading financial services provider based in Cape Town is seeking a Treasurer to oversee cash and liquidity management and support treasury operations within their Finance Department.This exciting opportunity places you at the heart of the organization's financial strategy, reporting directly to the Treasury Manager. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, such as banks and auditors, ensuring financial operations run smoothly.As Treasurer, your key responsibilities will include cash flow forecasting, optimizing surplus funds, managing bank relationships, and supporting the implementation of financial risk strategies. You'll contribute to business growth by ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic initiatives while maintaining rigorous standards for accuracy and accountability.This role is ideal for someone with a passion for structured processes, effective team collaboration, and a drive for analytical problem-solving. Success in this role will involve maintaining seamless cash and liquidity management, fostering strong relationships with partners, and delivering insightful financial reports to senior management.Key qualifications for the Treasurer :Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance (Essential)CA(SA) preferred3 Years of Treasury experienceExperience in multinational organisations (preferred)Strong knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in MS Office, particularly ExcelKey duties for the Treasurer include but are not limited to :Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for pay-out partners and internal operationsAssist in preparing short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecastsManage relationships with banks and pay-out partnersSupport the Treasury Manager with financial risk management strategies and reportingOversee treasury accounts with external providers and partnersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure accuracyContribute to the development and implementation of treasury policies and controlsAttend and document treasury-related requirements during product launch meetingsKey personal skills for a successful Treasurer :Exceptional time management and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with a process-driven mindsetExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersIf you are passionate about financial strategy and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, then please get in touch to learn more about this exciting opportunity.Salary: $52,284.24 - $69,712.32 per annumCome join our global team of creative thinkers, problem solvers and game changers.
