Job DescriptionResponsible for designing, quoting, and booking trips to Southern Africa for travelers through international agents.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle reservations for all client touring services requested internally and externally.Provide quotes and convert private charter requests within specified timeframes.Ensure competitive rates are negotiated and secured with preferred suppliers.Manage bookings in Tourplan system.Supervise allocated client touring suppliers.Oversee reservations and operational tasks for managing specific Scheduled Tours effectively.Ensure adherence to pre-, during-, and post-tour procedures following company standards.Monitor group numbers, manage Scheduled Tour departures, and supplier allocations.Maintain communication with tour guides during Scheduled Tours and Private charters.Handle payments, account inquiries with suppliers and local agents.Manage cancellations, client complaints, and emergencies.Monitor profitability of specific Scheduled Tours weekly.Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing teams as needed.Manage personal and shared team MS Outlook mailboxes. RequirementsQualifications and ExperienceMatric / Grade 12 qualification.Ideally, possess a Travel & Tourism qualification.Work ExperienceAt least 7 years of experience in group series and FITs.Proficient in Tourplan operations.Extensive knowledge of South Africa (tourist attractions, seasonality, routes, distances, driving times, places of interest, geography, and transport infrastructure).Skills and CompetenciesStrong verbal, telephonic, and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, and Teams.Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to negotiate and liaise effectively.Strong decision-making skills, innovation, and proactivity.Attention to detail and basic financial knowledge.SalaryCompetitive salary based on relevant experience.BenefitsABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client, an African company, is committed to prioritizing their people, customers, and suppliers by delivering exceptional quality, service, and value.
